Job Description
  Creation of any database object in DB2/400 Database
Design databases and processes in IDA
Help resolve RI conflicts and record deadlock problems in Oracle and DB2/400
Execute and monitor data fixes as necessary
Communicate effectively with Project Leaders and team members in IT&S Department
Mentoring and Cross Training other DBA team members
Follow current standard Change Management policies for the department, as well as standards, policies and procedures that are specific to the Database Services Team.
Create and implement database portions of project plans.
Provide project estimates for DBA skills to project managers.
Turnover change management promotion process for all iSeries objects including IFS objects.
CVS change management processes relating to IDA.
Security on iSeries platform, including object security and authorization lists
Maintain Disaster Recovery scripts, project plans and participate in the disaster recovery tests
Help resolve communication issues between Oracle and DB/400
3.Recommend short-term and long-term plans for effectively managing and using corporate data.
Recommend policies and procedures to effectively utilize and ensure the integrity of IS standards, policies, and procedures
