The successful candidate for the interface developer position will have proven experience creating highly decoupled system integration solutions in an enterprise SOA environment. This person must be able to deliver working solutions in an environment of uncertainty and shifting requirements while maintaining the level of rigor necessary to comply with company and government regulations for a validated system involved in the operation of clinical drug trials. Desirable qualities of the successful candidate include proven experience automating software testing and delivery, experience with enterprise integration technologies such as MQ messaging, web services, and ETL, strong software and system design skills, web service security, Java programming expertise, and a commitment to agile methodology. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical domain, inventory management, clinical trial design, and IVR system design, Java 1.6, J2EE, Eclipse, Subversion, JBoss 5, SAML/WS-Federation, .Net/Sharepoint, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SOAP UI, QTP is a plus. The interface developer will be responsible for developing interfaces between client’s new patient registration and medication ordering system and the other clinical trial management systems with which it interacts. These interfaces must be developed according to client’s target architecture guidelines and service oriented architecture principles. The interface developer will also be responsible for developing automated test suites for all interface code in a test-driven manner.
He must have strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements.
Responsible also to designs and writes application programs for the systems. Provides 24-hour daily production support to assigned system(s) to identify production problems and resolve them. Develops new programs to support.
