Candidate will be assigned to a client-run Tech Team working on applications owned by the client’s technology groups, primarily applications used on a daily basis to support the internal IT process of the client. Examples would be Change Management system and IT Asset Management. Candidate will be in an application support role w/occasional development opportunity. The successful candidate's purpose will be to help the team reduce their backlog of work requests. The work requests consist of small to medium sized enhancements, incidents, and maintenance tasks.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Learn applications
- Work with business partners and other team members to identify requirements and develop solutions for the work requests.
- Design, code, implement, test, and document these solutions, following Client's IT standard processes
- Serve on our on-call rotation
- Achieve NERC/CIP certification.
Candidate will work with Supervisor, Lead Analyst and Account Manager on their assignments. Candidate MAY be required to work with Business line on projects.
Candidate will be responsible to display capable skills in coding, analysis, testing, QA, problem solving. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills are required. Recognition of improvements to existing processes is strongly encouraged. Ultimate goal is to reduce support dependency within the team to allow more development efforts.
